A Fintech Start-up
Asthe first visual designer at Hometap, I’ve created a friendly and trust-worthy brand for an emerging business model which provides homeowners with an opportunity of financial independence through tapping into the equity of their home. I’ve helped Hometap achieve a Brand Sentiment Score of 99% by prioritizing and crafting a best-in-class brand experience.
From concept to execution, I’ve created their brand guidelines, ad campaigns, social media posts, promotional videos, events collateral, and collaborated on product design. I have also leveraged my background in the fine arts to create custom illustrations used throughout the Hometap creative suite.
Brand guidelines, direct mail, and PDFs
My process for creating Hometap's first Brand Guidelines included a thorough understanding of the brand before design could begin. After understanding the messaging marketing wanted to convey, different persona types, and top-level business objectives, I was able to craft a "north star" document for internal and external partners alike.
Conference Creative
I designed the booth, speakers series display background, video, and marketing collateral for the Fintech Nexus Conference held annually in NYC to help promote Hometap's presence and offerings.
Animation
For the release of Hometap's newest product, The Home Equity Dashboard, I animated a burst of Hometap branded graffiti in After Effects to add a bit of delight to the end-screen when the user has completed all of their tasks.
I worked along side our product team to create our first calculator, a home equity investment calculator, that provided homeowners with an idea of how much equity they have in their home and could take out with a Hometap Investment.
For the launch of this new product, I animated a video to showcase the different features including, number inputs and a number ticker to make the user feel like they are using the product themselves.
Social Media
From concept to execution, I created organic social media graphics that increased the number of followers on TikTok and Meta by over 50%.
